Oven igniter glows red but does not heat
Model Number: JGB920KEC3CC Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
No heat in oven. Broiler heats fine; stovetop burners work fine. Removed temp sensor probe and tested at 1.09k at room temperature. Was instructed to test amps of igniter (should be 3.3-3.6 I was told). Haven't had a chance to test that yet. But, if the amps check out, what is the next step?

Hi.
If the ignitor glows most likely it's not pulling enough amps to open the gas valve. Replace the ignitor Part number: WB13K21 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric JGB920KEC3CC Gas range | AppliancePartsPros.com Simon.
