Mini explosions
Model Number: MGR5765QDB Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
When using the oven we get a strong smell of gas then a mini explosion some enough to open and slam the oven door.We replaced the ignitor but it is still happening.

Most likely the problem caused by the bake burner which I would recommend to replace.
- The part number for the bake burner is AP174011 Gene.
