Model Number: 3521WRW Brand: Magic Chef Age: More than 10 years
My son turned on the oven on his Magic Chef range. It made a loud pop and tripped the breaker. I unplugged it and removed the bake element. One of the wires was not connected. I removed the back panel and found the terminal on the end of the wire fused to the back panel. The insulation on the ends of both wires is burnt a little. The oven element appears to be fine other than one terminal is burnt. Is this a bad element on could there be another problem?
