Model Number: RBD275PDB14   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
So my double oven (RBD275PDB14) died a while back (no error codes) and this forum suggested I replace the control panel assembly. I replaced the entire assembly, sister board, thermal fuse, and keypad. Nothing worked, then mysteriously one day it started working. It worked a while and then again went dead...again no error codes. A few days later it started working again and worked for a few months. A couple days ago we went to bed and it worked, we got up and it was dead. Same characteristics panel dead, beeps when buttons pushed, light turns on when you open the oven doors. today my wife texted me that the oven beeped and showed E6 F2 error codes....Need help please. Thanks!

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for Whirlpool RBD275PDB14 27" BUILT-IN ELECTRIC DOUBLE OVEN STD-CLEAN LOWER SELF-CLEAN UPPER | AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

The error code is a connection code so I would try the following.
Since you have already replaced the control panel (keypad) the problem may be with the connector on the control board.
Could also be a cold (bad) solder joint on the control board.
Cold solder joints are often a dull grey and/or have pin holes.
Sometimes if you gently wiggle a component you can see the parts leg move in the solder sire of the board.
A magnifying glass helps here.

Connector Cleaning / Checking
Unplug the unit
Open it up
Remove the ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board at the control board.
Clean the edge connector. Use electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
If it is the type where there is not a connector just the insulation is removed, it can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Do not use an ink eraser as it is too abrasive.
Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for hairline cracks. A magnifying glass helps here.
Would not hurt to clean the connector on the board. Use electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be gentle and do not reconnect till all the solvent evaporates.
Reconnect everything and give it a try.

I removed the control panel and control board and saw a piece of the suppressor had had melted and broken off. I ordered that part last night. Hopefully that will fix it. Thoughts anyone?

to add to my fun, I replaced the suppressor and nothing works... Well, the light works and the timer works (without displaying anything). I am at the point now where a sledge hammer seems like the right repair method. Any suggestions please!

How do you know that the timer is working without the display?

You will have to check the power at the terminal strip though it is probably OK.

Then do the procedure in my earlier post I doubt this will do anything but probably worth a try.

Unfortunately it sounds like the control board is blown.
