Thermador Dual Fuel Ignitor Won't Work
Model Number: PD364GLBS/01 Brand: Thermador Age: 1 - 5 years
Our XLO burners on the left size of the range went out about two years ago after the range was out of warranty. Before that time it only had light use. A week ago I replaced the potentiometers for the XLO burners. No change. Yesterday I replaced the gas simmer controller (SQ005) with the upgraded Bosch part (SQ120Q). The front XLO burner now ignites, but you have to turn the left rear XLO control knob for it to spark. The left rear XLO burner does not ignite, but gas does flow and it can be lighted manually. This does not appear to be controls being reversed. What is the troubleshooting protocol on this? Is it likely that this is the left rear igniter plug, the re-igniter, or some other part?
