Default Whirlpool electric cook top downdraft
Model Number: RC8720EDB-0   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: More than 10 years

When you turn either of the 2 burners on the red light comes on but the burners do not get hot. Also when you turn on the grill top the fan and light comes on but again it does not get hot. I have checked and reset the breaker but it still does not work. I am thinking it has to be something that can be fixed because they all went out at the same time.

Hi Dave,

Pull out the coil module and the grille module. Turn the switches on and measure the voltage between the far left and the far right terminals at the receptacle blocks. Do the same test between the middle terminals and post the results.
