Gas cooktop on range, After turning top burner on,,no gas flows for over a full minute while igniter sparks., when gas finally begins to flow, top burners light up.

Oven and broiler are electric and work fine.

Sounds like the problem is a bad gas pressure regulator on the back of the range.

Default Pressure regulator
Pressure regulator was the problem. I changed it today($35 Bucks) and the stove is working great.
