Model Number: arg7302ww Brand: Amana Age: More than 10 years
(I'm on a Propane tank.) I saw another (2010) post whereas the question was similiar; last night I used the bake mode (350Dg.), and after an hour or so I heard it beeping, saw an F2 in the display, followed by it going back to the time-clock, then the (red) oven light started blinking. A minute or so later the Broiler lit. I turned it off and a minute or so later tried to re-lite the bake; as it was already preheated, it beeped three times indicating so, then the broiler lit again. Because of the age of this, is it worth fixing and fixing (this is my second repair) and/or is this "control Panel", P/N AP4041660 (1.) going to fix my problem and (2.) is it going to be the heart of all other major costs/problems? Many Thanks, pt

Hi.
The F2 code means over temperature sensed. Check the oven sensor resistance. Set the multimeter for 10 Kohm and at room temperature normal resistance should be about 1100 ohm. If it's off - replace the sensor Part number: Y0314907 If the reading is OK, check the connection to the control board and if needed - replace the board Part number: 31864501 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Amana ARG7302WW RANGE- S/C S/I DDRAFT GAS | AppliancePartsPros.com Thank you. Simon.
