I have an amana range and the other night my wife was cooking and the oven started buzzing after a minute passed it quit. The next day we were cooking lunch and i preheated the oven to 400 the preheat never beeped but the oven was hot. I put the food in and within minutes everything was burt. I let it cool off put a thermometer inside set the oven to 100 and within minutes it went to 500 degrees. My question is it the oven control board?? they are very expensive and didnt know if I had a better option.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for ART6114WW models | AppliancePartsPros.com

Since the unit never came ready it could be a oven sensor problem (item 9 in Section 2).
Click on it's picture for more info on it.

Also here is info on how to check it. Take a look at 7, 8, 20 and 21.
