Model Number: MER5751BAW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
My front left burner isn't getting hot, how do i test to find out which part I need between the (Infinite Switch) or (Radiant Surface Element)

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for Maytag MER5751BAW RANGE- S/C F/S ELE | AppliancePartsPros.com Looks like it is the 6 inch burner. It is item 16 in section 2. Click on it's picture for more info and a Q&A section. I would check it first. It should be approximately 50 ohms. If OK then it is probably a bad infinite control. Also be sure to check the wires going to it as one of them may have burned out.
