Oven pre-heats fine, but turns off after
Model Number: JGR8855BDS Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
My Jenn-Air convection oven pre-heats fine but does not keep it's temperature. It's as if it turns off after reaching the initial set temperature. The broiler seems to work fine.
I've been noticing for several weeks a short cycling of the oven where I could hear the gas coming on and off all of the time, but I was still able to bake. Now, I have to turn my oven completely off and start it up again and the cycle repeats. Do I need a new temperature sensor, something else or should I call in a service person?
