Model Number: JGB800SEP1SS Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
My GE oven won't heat and flashes "Locked Door". I suspected that the lock switch may be bad so I ordered a new one (WB02K10136). The new part arrived today. I discovered that the new one has a different configuration from the old one! There are EIGHT wires connected to the old one while there are only SIX wire connectors on the new one! I tried to connect the wires with various combinations but no luck! Can someone provide some information on how to wire the new part to GE oven (JGB800SEP1SS)? Which colored wire goes to which part of the switch?
There is a note shipped with the part which has little help. It reads: Attention! The lock latch may not look like the lock latch in the range. Latch WB02K10010 has superseded to this latch WB02K10136. The switch configuration between the 2 latches has changed. The unlock switch on this latch is on the left side when the latch is installed in the range. the unlock switch on WB02K10010 is on the right side. Ads By Google Related Models |
