Hi;
am new to forum.have a whirlpool oven(black cooktop digital etc) started to have oven problem.It will warm up till the timer beeps then will cool almost all the way down.was told to replace the heat ele(lower)did and still the same.tried the clean feature and the lower ele will light up for about a min and a half then goes to slow cool down.was told to replace the temp sensor,have not done this yet.Am wondering if anyone has run into this problem.was also told if temp sensor didn't fix it would need control unit$400.00.Am very dissapointed inthis stove.it replaced a 20 year old Ge that had a oven ele replaced one time and was still working well but falling apart.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
