?? bad bake valve??
Model Number: jgas02en1wh Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Hello,
I have troubleshot my oven down to what I believe is a bad bake valve. I had previously replaced the igniter but it still did not work. I checked all the wiring with a voltmeter and there was power all around. Only when it put a jumper across the electrical connections on the bake valve would the igniter heat up. Based on this I am assuming a bad bake valve... right? If so, every website I try (including Sears) says that the part is discontinued. Rest of the range/oven work great. Hate to chunk it. It is old but has very little wear on it (was an ER back up unit). Any advice? Ads By Google Related Models
