Turn the power off.

Open the control panel and remove the control panel ribbon from the control board.

Restore the power and monitor the oven for a day.

If the error code shown up again, replace the control board.

If the error code disappeared, replace the control panel.

- The part number for the control board (ERC) is AP3203778

- The part number for the control panel is AP3205594

Question? Is the ribbon cable supposed to have a connector at the end of it? It appears that the ribbon end is inserted in the connector on the control board and is held in by a plastic clip..?? thanks.. Want to make sure I did not damage the ribbon cable.

Yes. This is the way how it was designed.

Hi Pat,

In such situation I would recommend to call the APP customer service to exchange the defective ERC one more time and replace the control panel together with the new ERC.

- The part number for the control panel is AP3205594
