Hi ,
I have a GE JHP61G J1 hi/lo RANGE . ABOUT 7 MONTHS AGO I REPLACED THE BAKE ELEMENT BECAUSE IT BROKE IN HALF. IT WORKED FINE FOR 7 MONTHS. THE BROILER ELEMENT WORKS FINE ON THE BROIL SETTING. THE NEW PROBLEM IS THE OVEN WILL NOT HEAT TO THE SET TEMPERATURE.I WILL TEST THE HEATING ELEMENT . IF IT IS GOOD HOW DO I TEST THE THERMOSTAT. FROM EVERYTHING I READ THEY DONT EVEN MAKE THIS PART WB-21X5320 ANYMORE. WHAT ELSE COULD BE THE PROBLEM. GO EASY ON ME BECAUSE I AM A 55 YEAR OLD MOTHER OF 3 . WITH YOUR HELP I FIXED MY FRIDGE FAN AND MY MAYTAG DRYER
