Kenmore Range Error Code F8
Model Number: 911.9584990 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
From what I can find so far, this is a Roper unit and error F8 means the clock/timer/controller is bad.
The Sears parts blow-up shows the controller P/N WB27K5160 as obsolete. Someone told me the replacement part is WB27K5137. The actual unit is marked WB27x5074. I've had no luck finding a replacement except a place called AllBrandsSupply.com. They sell used units that are untested and charge $15 for a return - no thanks. I'm a Electronics Engineer and I thought that I might repair it, but I don't see anything obvious. Can anyone offer any guidance or suggestions? Thanks, Ray Ads By Google Related Models
