Just installed my Maytag range (MGR5755QDW) for the 3rd time in 4 years, and when I try to light up the burners, a very low flame is achieved, and no other burners can be lit simultaneously.

Also, the oven will light up, but won't go above 170 deg.

I checked the gas line and there is no problem with pressure - I have a new gas hose too.

Any ideas?

sounds like a bad pressure regulator. that parts is what you hook up your gas line to. tom

I have the same problem.Have already replaced the gas regulator for the stove but no difference.Other gas appliances (furnace & reefer) seem to work ok on gas.

Are pressure regulators generaly easy to replace?
