oven won't light
Model Number: 31213 wav Brand: Magic Chef Age: More than 10 years
The oven on my magic chef will not light. I replaced the ignitor and this did not help. I've concluded that either the gas valve or the thermostat is the problem. Is this a logical conclusion or could there be additional reasons for this problem? Please advise

Is that a glow ignitor or one that sparks?
If it's a glow one can you see it come on?

You will need a volt meter to check and see if you are getting power to it.
