The ignitor starts sparking spontaneously even when the stove is not in use and has not been used recently. I have cleaned the ignitors with rubbing alcohol and replaced the red rubber gaskets. The electrical outlet was checked with a test plug that showed polarity and ground were good. I plug in the cooktop and the ignitors will work right and then minutes or hours later the ignitor starts sparking when no one is near. Also have problem with xlo burners and feel I need to order the potentiometer setup. One xlo burner will do nothing and make no solinoid noise and the ignitor doesn't spark when this burner is turned on. How to diagnose the spark problem to see if I need spark module in addition to the pot kit. Thanks for any suggestions.
