Model Number: JVB67ABB Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I purchased the 36" trim for my GE down vent system. How do you remove the old part? I have spoke to GE and visited their web site to no avail. I have seen a previous discussion on your forum. Not appliable. On raising the snorkel I have no visable screws or nuts to remove either on top or underneath the existing top cap. My order no. was 2644005.

Hi Bill,
According to the Tech sheet (attached to the post), the top trim is held in place with adhesive. To remove, start at one end and peel the trim off the snorkel. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric JVB67ABB Electric range | AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.
