Hi,

i have a Whirlpool drop-in oven/stove-top, model rde6300n2.

The little glass panel on the outside of the door suddenly has come loose. I can't tell how it was attached in the first place but only the top portion of the rectangle shape is still attached. The other 3 sides, it is swinging open and letting a lot of heat out when oven is on. (obviouslly we aren't using the oven anymore).

Can this be reglued or something? hate to pay $100.00 for a service call on such an old unit. I know at some point I have to replace it. I actually have an appliance warranty policy but I know the door isn't covered and therefore not a factor in them replacing it.

Any advice and specific details would be appreciated. I am not a technician or anyone who knows how do do these kinds of things.
