Door lock Maytag elect. range
Model Number: MES5770aaa Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Started the self-cleaning cycle last night and after about 1 hour heard a continuous beep. The panel said F1. I followed the instructions of pressing the cancel button and nothing happened. The fan continued to run and the F1 message remained. Tried unplugging for 30 min. and started over. Same problem. The fan runs continuously (cold air at this point) and the F1 message remains. Unable to unlock the door.
