Hi everybody, just registered and hoping someone can help me. My Amana is giving me a F14 fault. The burners(5 of them) and oven do not work. The oven light and clock are lit up but nothing works on the range. The only thing I could find through a Google search said its a "faulty clock module, needs to be replaced." Well, I bought a new clock module(ECU,expensive!) and swapped it out and then when I plugged it in I got a different code,F03.0. I thought maybe the clock module was defective so I returned it to Sears. I am now back to my original F14 fault.I called Amana and they dont have that code in there manual.I really need to get this fixed, can someone please help me with this. Thanks.

Here are your parts.

See the attachment for the tech sheet

I also could not find a F14 error.

Your problem sounds like a power problem. The oven control and the stove top controls are separate circuits in the unit so if you loose both, it is usually due to a 240 supply problem.

So for now I would concentrate on getting the stove top elements to work.

I do not know if you were unplugging the unit when working on it, if yes.
Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.

Thanks for the reply. I did as you said, first flipping the breaker a few times(nothing changed). Then checked voltage at the plug(everything good-240/120),then I checked the terminal strip and had good power there as well.Wires are in like new condition, nothing loose or burned out.It seems as though its getting the correct amount of power. What could I try next?

Check the 240 at the terminal strip and then turn on a stove top element.

Could be you are loosing the 240 when a load is placed on the line.

This is a real mystery because I cannot see any device in the wiring that will cut power to all the stove top elements.

Well, the stove has been sold. I posted on Craigslist and someone came this morning and bought it. I had mentioned in the ad that the burners and oven did not get hot and it had an error code. Well wouldnt you know, when he shows up he tests all burners and oven and they all turned on.The unit still displays the F14 code but now all of a sudden I have heat. Is it possible that the code is no longer active and just needs to be cleared or will the "no heat" problem just come back.Who knows,he bought it and I am awaiting a new one at the moment. Thanks for everyones input.
