Problem with noisy fan on Thermador range
Model Number: RDSS30RS Brand: Thermador Age: More than 10 years
I have a 14 year old Thermador electric range with a gas cooktop -- model RDSS30RS, ser # 97060146. There is recently a noisy fan that occasionally won't stop after the oven is heated. It sounds like the bearing are going out and I have to cut the power to the stove to shut it down. It is not the convection motor which is easily visible in the rear of the oven. I cannot find another motor to replace in the unit on the schematics. I replaced the LED control unit 2 years ago with no new problem until recently. The motor sounds like it is under the cooktop. Any help appreciated.
