Model Number: DHD9605 Brand: Bosch Age: 5 - 10 years
Couldnt find exact problem noted here, so decided to post.
I have a 6 year old DHD6905 down draft with fan. Unplug the unit from the wall and wait 1 minute, plug in and the unit will rise or lower about 1/2 inch, depending on position of button. I can actually raise or lower the unit fully by unplug, wait 40-60 seconds, plug in again, and let motor run the 1-2 seconds and stop.....unplug, from wall, repeat. So, mechanically, full range of motion. Motor runs, albeit a very short time when I plug into power. The vento blower runs in all 3 speeds when the unit is raised fully. So, what needs to be replaced? Its like a relay or something that cuts power to the motor after only a few seconds. If I unplug from wall, its like it was to reset at least 30-40 seconds in order for the motor to work again. Strange. Any help on where to look is appreciated. DTM Ads By Google Related Models |
