Model Number: GJC3054RB01 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Replacement burner has only two connectors while the original has four. No other option available as per Appliance Pros. What do I do with the two (smaller} wires and connectors.

Thanks Simon. My first time on here so not sure how all this works.
Part number received is WPL 8523697. Old one burned out a while back. Have it installed and appears it works. Other connection are for the 'ON' light as per diagram on bottom and I had to tape them up with a wire knot for the hot lead. Was told there is no other replacement part listed. |

The picture looks like my old one that burned out. The part number on the box is the correct one. Howevr, the replacement one I received and we are discussing only has two connections.
So now what. As I was told that the one with two connections was the correct one and the only one availabe, I installed it as mention. So now what? If the wrong one was in the box and the one with four connections is the correct one and available what happens now? |
