I was told to test the control board to see if it sends 120 volts on the bake relay. I read the "how to use a multi meter" but i'm still unsure how to test this. I have a frigidaire pleb30s8ccc wall oven 220 plug. Do I leave the unit plugged in to do this and what to points would I connect with the meter?

The oven stopped heating after a self clean cycle.

The first thing I would do is check the thermals fuse (#119 at the diagram) for continuity. This fuse can be reset by pushing the red button in the center of the fuse.

I have attempted to reset the thermal switch, I also replaced the switch. I was told to test the control panel. I need to know how to test the voltage so I can determine if the control panel is bad.

Does it in Broil mode? If it does and the problem is only Bake, then turn of the power to the oven and pull out the Bake heating element. Remove the wires from the heating element and check the element for continuity.

If it is open, replace the Bake heating element.

If it shows continuity, then the problem is a bad control board. You don't have to do any more tests to prove it.

This statement is correct only if Broil works.
