I was told to test the control board to see if it sends 120 volts on the bake relay. I read the "how to use a multi meter" but i'm still unsure how to test this. I have a frigidaire pleb30s8ccc wall oven 220 plug. Do I leave the unit plugged in to do this and what to points would I connect with the meter?

Hello,

What seems to be a problem with the oven?

The first thing I would do is check the thermals fuse (#119 at the diagram) for continuity. This fuse can be reset by pushing the red button in the center of the fuse.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Frigidaire PLEB30S8CCC Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.com

I have attempted to reset the thermal switch, I also replaced the switch. I was told to test the control panel. I need to know how to test the voltage so I can determine if the control panel is bad.

Does it in Broil mode? If it does and the problem is only Bake, then turn of the power to the oven and pull out the Bake heating element. Remove the wires from the heating element and check the element for continuity.

If it is open, replace the Bake heating element.

If it shows continuity, then the problem is a bad control board. You don't have to do any more tests to prove it.

This statement is correct only if Broil works.

- The Bake heating element Part number: 318255006

Part number: 318255006

- The oven control board Part number: 318010700

Part number: 318010700

Default Whirlpool oven elements not coming on

Can someone help me with a problem with my whirlpool model gr450lxlb0 oven elements not coming on even though the control panel counts down on preheat and starts the cook time?
