The new part measures up like the old one but it does not fit as I expect it to. The two "keys" does not fit in the slot so the burner rotates freely without locking into place. What is different? Help

This part is the burner head. They are different for different burners. Which of the burners needs a new burner head?

the burner I am changing is the front left. part 151 should fit into 155 and lock but it spins freely. I am using the old base. Could it be GE change the base so the new part does not fit in the old base?

GE had redesigned this part and changed the part number. Looks like you have to order the new burner base too.
