Model Number: ACS3350AS Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
My Control Panel acts like this:
1. The clock works 2. If I set an oven temp, or set broiler, it displays as if it is working, but after a minute or so goes back to just displaying the time. The gas valve does not activate either. 3. The "Oven Cancel" button is loose (see photo) 4. The stove top works fine. 5. I know that this panel is no longer available (Sheme Amana!) but is there a way of fixing it? Perhaps this is a well known problem. Thank you. Ads By Google Related Models |

Hopefully the problem is just a broken overlay and the control board itself is still good. If you'll decide to try it, you should be advised that, very likely, you would not be able to return the part if it would not fix the problem. You have to verify it with the APP customer service.
- The overlay Part number: 32061901B Gene.

Thank you Gene!
OK, I've been looking at my stove to ascertain how to get the thing out of there. The Part pictures on the website seem to indicate that it is attached from the back of the front Stainless Bezel. It doesn't have any information as to how to access it though. Questions: 1. Do I need to remove the screws that attached the burner knob valves? 2. How do I get to those screws showing the Control Panel mounted behind that heat shield? 3. Is there a website with some instructions do do this properly? I got some from "************************.com" but they were for an electric unit not Gas Any help here would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Regards, Dana |

Hi Dana,
I believe you can access it from the back by removing the rear panel. Make sure you labeled all wires before remove them. Gene.
