GE oven main element not heating
Model Number: JBP26W Y6WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
as the title says, main element will not heat up to temp, burners and broiler seem to be working fine.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for General Electric JBP26WY6 Electric range | AppliancePartsPros.com If you click on the element's picture (Item 650 in Section 1) an new page will open with a Q&A and a video. Be sure to unplug the unit when removing the element, most units still have 120 volts to one side of the element even when it is turned off. The element should measure approximately 20 ohms. Clip something (clothespin etc.) to the wires to ensure they do not disappear into the back when disconnected from the element.
