GE Profile Range -F7 Fault Code -Replace the panel or ERC or both, how can you tell?
Model Number: JS905S0K1ss Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I got the dreaded F7. I tried the paper insulation slipped between the ribbon cable and the panel fix. It didn't work. So how can you tell if you need to replace the ERC or the push panel or both? Can one be broken and the other working? Also, does the ribbon cable just pull out of the ERC back? I tried to tug on it gently, afraid I would break something, and it didn't move. I had read something about cleaning the contacts. I'm not real handy, but I'm willing to try. Thank you.
