I have a Kitchen Aid Ceran Top Schott Stovetop, and for the second time the top left switch for the large burner-top left, has gone defective. The old switch used to be #3188516, and I ordered a new . The new switch number is #8203534.
My problem is the diagram for the replacement switch mentions wire colors that are somewhat different from the wire colors that I have.
The existing switch has a double violet wire plugged into terminal #1; a double grey wire plugged into terminal #2; a single yellow wire plugged into terminal #3; another single yellow wire plugged into terminal #4; a double red wire in terminal #5; another single yellow wire in terminal #6.
The new switch consists of Terminal H1a, H2, H1b, P, Li, L2.
Can someone help me out with what wires go to what terminals??
Thank you very much!!
