Model Number: GSL3064rs0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Recently ordered the gas to LP changeover kit from Appliancepartspros, and upon receipts noticed that there are no instructions with the kit. I have been unable to find instructions via the internet, so I was hoping that someone here could guide me through the switch.
Thanks in advance, Drew Ads By Google Related Models |

What is the part number of the conversion kit you purchased? Gene.

Per Whirlpool, the gas conversion instruction was provided in the package containing the literature, which came together with the cooktop. Otherwise it is not available.
I will ask the APP research department but there is a very small chance to find it. Gene.

Thank you Gene. I figured it out. The kit came with 2 'jets' per burner. A larger one and a smaller, thinner one. The larger one goes in the burner, and the smaller, thinner one goes in near the valve where you turn the burners on. I couldnt figure out where the smaller jet went, but after looking around a bit, found it by the valve. Thank you again.

by the way, my wife found this cooktop at a garage sale. Apparently a contractor had remodeled a kitchen, and his customer didnt want this cooktop. It was basically new in the box, but had been opened and installed, but never used. She paid $50 bucks for it, so having to order the LP conversion was a small price to pay for a very nice brand new cooktop. This model goes for at least $750, so we got a bargain. It is now up and running, and very nicely I might add.

You are welcome Drew. I'm glad you were able to do it. Good job!
Gene.
