oven igniter starts gas until u release the start then it gas shuts off but not light
Model Number: SP385PEGQ 5 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
purchased 2000, oven and/or broiler igniter will start gas and burner until you release the oven start button. You do have to hold the button on start for about 8 seconds before it will ignite. It takes some time to try and relight after it shuts off as well. do you think it is a gas valve or the main board?
