My Maytag oven will not heat; I've replaced the CNTRL-ELEC and the lower igniter. The broiler will ignite the gas but the lower igniter does not come on. What else is there to prevent the lower igniter from coming on?

Hi.

There are two safety gas valves next to each other at the bottom rear. Trace the wire from the bake ignitor to the correct valve. Remove one wire off and check the continuity.
If it's open - replace the safety gas valve.

The valve kit Part number: AP4009625
