I set the oven to self clean and when I came back it had quit completely. Door was locked. Got it open. Now it is like there is no power at all. Oven lights do not work. No display.

The problem you are experiencing is caused by a terrible design characteristic of this particular oven. Turns out that hot air is vented out through the top of the oven right past the control board. When you boost the temp of the oven to 500 for a long period of time (as self-cleaning does), this extremely hot air passes by the control board and effectively melts it. Thus, the control board will need to be replaced. You may find that the self-cleaner works for a while, but then, as the upper space behind the control board gathers dust and grime, this will intensify the problem.

The fix? Don't use the self-cleaning feature. We have already fried two control board (it took the second one to finally figure out the cause of the problem).
