The light in the oven went out and then I discovered that the bottom heating element did not work. The bottom element works part time, when its working if you turn the light on it will fade out, turn the light off it glows red. When the element does not work at all, neither does the light. Tested the lower element with 110 volts and it heats up every time. I believe the bottom element is okay. The broiler and top element seem to work fine. When preheating and the bottom element is not working it will display that its up to temperature in a few minutes (its really not the correct temp). If the bottom element is working or starts working it seems to have two preheating cycles and it will reach the correct temperature.
