My Litton Microwave Range, model #773 is a combination microwave/oven/stovetop range. It has a self-cleaning feature, but when I try to engage it, nothing happens. The indicator lights don't light up and the oven doesn't heat up.

There are two knobs I set for self cleaning - one is the oven function knob, which I set to 'Clean'. The other knob is the oven temperature setting, which I also set to 'Clean'. I also engage the door lock when setting the self cleaning features on. It behaves as the oven it is not plugged in, but the other oven features work fine.

Is there something else I should be doing, as I haven't used this feature for a long time? Is it possible to download or get a user manual for this model anymore? What, if any, troubleshooting steps can I take to determine where the problem might be? Thanks.

this is about as complicated as it gets appliance repair-wise. there are alot of "techs" out there that get this repair wrong. do yourself a favor and call a pro for this one.

What ever happened? These are very rare models. I have a Caloric version. Any luck fixing the problem?
