Need Replacement Control Panel for Kenmore Double Oven
Model Number: 278.4298493 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
The clock/timer (P/N 330938 or 4336454) on my double oven control panel is broken and I can't find a new or reconditioned one.
My question is, since the ovens are still in perfect working order, is it possible to replace this old control panel with a newer, digital unit? I would think that the input/output lines to the ovens should be the same and I could work around any differences in connectors. Matching the physical dimensions might be the main problem -- the panel size at the face plate is 26 3/4 inches wide by 9 5/8 inches high. Any help you can give will be appreciated.
