Model Number: KGCT305EBL0 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
A friend of mine gave me a cook top that had been in their house for 7-8 years, I guess, that had been working fine. They were remodeling their kitchen and it was in much better shape than the one I had.
Anyway..... Tonight the igniter just started ticking and the spark was popping all by itself. It is a slow tick, not as fast as the igniter when one would operate the valve and switch. After looking at the layout of the parts, it sounds like this is going to be a bad spark module. Does that sound correct to anyone? If that is the correct thought, how in the heck do you pull this cook top apart?![]() Thanks, Chris |
