Hello: water remains in main tub after any of the wash or rinse cycles chosen, internal tub float checked, screen cleaned, cleaned with vinegar rinse, removed fill & drain hoses, all plumbing checked inside and out, no clogs , the sink drain plumbing was checked and even I routed out also.
Professionally installed , has the proper air gap for drain hose from DW to sink main drain, there is no disposal hookup, that is illegal in Illinois & a Plumbing code violation to do so.
This model is a Frigidaire - made by D&M under the Kenmore (Sears) brand.
I truly suspect the drain pump, the DW is fitted with one, to be defective as the main motor pump assembly is operating circulating and cleaning the dishware. The DW serial # TH73358513 which I believe the unit was manufactured in year 2007 during week 33.
drain pump part # 154640201 any help or ideas before I order the drain pump is appreciated Thanks GoBlue

Thanks Gene i shall do so, I presume the "flapper" is sort of a flap valve ( like a swinging door) that is inside the output port of the pump? What is intention of its use may I ask? internal back flow device? Thanks very much, Go Blue

Yes, this is kind of a safety device to prevent back up and supposrt a pressure in drain line.
Gene.
