Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

We have been using this Kenmore stove in our rental house for 3.5 years. We have had to replace 3 large eye switches because they would sporadically boil over while on the low setting.

Has anyone experience this same problem before and how can it be fixed?

Also - the replacement switch part number was #AP2591804/#5303935086.
