I've replaced the switch for the dual burner on my cooktop 4 times within the last year. The shaft on the switch breaks at the base. Why they designed this to break is beyond me. The other 4 burner switches are solid shafts. Does anyone know of a switch for the dual burner that has a solid shaft? The part number of the "Infinite Switch" that keeps breaking is 8203529. Whirlpool was not helpful at all in this matter. They basically told us to buy a new cooktop which is what i'll wind up doing if i have to keep replacing a switch that is designed to break. It won't be a Whirlpool product if i do. Any help/direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
