The broiler element will not work even through I just put a new one in any ideas

Hello, Teresa.

There is a thermal fuse in the broil circuit, top rear of the range. With power off take one lid off the fuse and check the continuity.
If it's open - replace it. It is marked #17 on attached diagram.

The thermal fuse Part number: AP2989423
