I am trying to change out the dual switch for dual burner on this cooktop.
The old part no. was 318078200. The replacement part no. is 903097-050. The problem is there is no conversion diagram to show where wires should be plugged in on new switch. I need help. The correct Model no. is FEC30S8HSA

Hi.

This is the rewiring instructions Blk. wire with a jumper feed will feed both P-2's. Orange # 18 gauge wire goes to the pilot and the # 4 switch connection. Red wire #16 gauge jumper is from the # terminal to the inner element connection. This is the same side that hooks to the limiter which the other end of the limiter is a brown # 16 gauge wire going to the #2 connection of the R.F. Sw. The other side of the switch has a red # 16 gauge wire hooks to it from the jumper to L-2 connection of the RT.R. Sw., jumping to the Lt. rear sw.(@L_2) finally dead front at (ending) the P-1 connection on the Lt. front switch. The limiter has a black #18 gauge wire connected to it that is a jumper series to all limiters on the same connection. The limiter has a brown, gray or an orange #18 gauge feeding one side of the hot surface l.e.d. indicator bulb. There is a red # 16 gauge wire that goes to the P1 connection of the switch, opposite of the brown wire on #2 connection going to the limiter. Thank you.

The correct purt number for dual switch is 903057-9010.

I am posting pictures of the old and new switches. I have identified the color wire that hooks to each terminal on old switch. I do not see the # terminal highlighted in your post. Any help is appreciated.

I have a Frigidaire Gallery Cooktop and replaced the dual switch number 903057-9010 twice now. I ordered a third switch and received part number 903097-9050. I was told it replaced the previous part. It is a much sturdier switch but I cannot find a wiring diagram for it (I spent half a day calling and searching online). Your recent post describes wiring for the 903057-9010 switch and I have that diagram, but the 903097-9050 connections are different from that and the original switch.

Please tell me what color wires connect to the following terminals on the 903097-9050 switch: P1, P2, S1, S2, 4 and 4a. Or send a diagram if available. Thank you, stevenmh

I have a Frigidaire FEC 30S8HSA cook top. The front dual burner switch has broken three times, the original and two 903057-9010 switches. I ordered another switch and they sent me a 903097-9050 switch. Attached are the original and 903057-9010 wiring diagrams. Please tell me how to wire the 903097-9050 switch to the FEC 30S8HSA cook top. Thank you.

According to the manufacturer part number 903057-9010 doesn't sub to 903097-9050. So you may have the wrong switch.

According to your model the final replacement switches are 903057-9010 and 318120505. Which means the 903097-9050 doesn't belong to your model.
