I have a Maytag Performa glass top 30" slide in range. The indicater lights and the heating coils do not light up anymore. The range top works but noting indicates that the range is on. Is there a blown fuse?

Thanks, Stockinghead

In order to provide most accurate advice we need the complete model number of the range. The Model Number Locator will help you to find it.

I'm assuming you meant the indicator lights on the control board (aka a clock). If this is correct then you have to check for 120 VAC between the wires connected to the "N" & "L1" terminals on the control board. The control board has to be replaced if there is proper voltage.

If you need the correct part number for the control board then post the color of the key panel.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for MAYTAG PER5710BAW | AppliancePartsPros.com

The clock works, it's just there is nothing to indicate that there is a hot surface. I can't tell if the burner is on unless I physically touch it after turning the knob to the on position. The red lights are the lights that do not turn on. My range has a little red light on the control board that does not work, the hot surface light on the front of the cooktop does not work and the coils do not turn red when on.

Possible one of the power (120 VAC) legs is missing. Pull the range out of the wall and check the voltage at the power outlet. It suppose to be 240 VAC between the two hot and 120 VAC between each of hot and neutral (or ground). Remove the back panel and check the wires at the terminal block (#16 on the diagram). Track all wires from the terminal block to the switches and the heating elements.
