Oven won't heat up
Model Number: MER5755QAB Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Repairman said control panel went bad, so we ordered one, installed it, all the buttons work, clock, etc. Only, the oven won't heat up. The oven temp starts at 100 degrees. Doesn't seem to want to go up from there. However, if we cancel and turn on broil HI for just a second, then cancel that and turn the oven back to 350 degrees it will begin to heat up, but takes forever. Only got to 175 in about 15 minutes. What's up!!!! Could the bottom element be bad also? Well, the element was broken, so replaced it with a new one and still the bake element will not get hot. Help!!
