whirlpool slide in oven
Model Number: kgsa906pss Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
During the cleaning cycle my oven went blank. I have found info all over on this problem. The question I have is, I disconnected the thermostat tht is located on the back of the oven. I jumped out the two black wires and the display light up and the door unlocked. I checked the thermostat and it has no continuity. I woud think it should be normally closed and open when it overheats. Am I correct in thinking tht I only need to replace the Thermostat?
