Model Number: SF360BEEW Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
I noticed on the parts diagram for this model of Range there is a spring called a Burner seal. I wonder if this might cause the Burner not to ignite properly, if the spring is not positioned right from the venturi opening to the burner. Is the spring suppose to seal the burner and venturi. And would this cause the flame to start at the venturi shutter and gas valve if it dropped down from the burner, as I notice the instructions on this model call for the Burner seal to be positioned to the top of the venturi opening where it meets the burner. If this spring were to drop could it cause problems in the burner not igniting right. Oh well. Any help appreciated.
